There is a question that we are asked frequently: “How can I implement a logo discreetly and still make it recognizable on a garment?” There are fundamentally two options to execute your design, tone-on-tone or alternatively a transparent logo.
…when you could simply use a tone-on-tone heat transfer label? While a defined colour is used with a tone-on-tone finish, you can embellish many different textile colours by using the same transparent heat transfer label and the subtle look is retained. As a result, the ECOFILM I TRANSPARENT transfer offers a wider range of printing options which is also available in MATT, GLOSS or REFLECTIVE finishes.
Basically, the only consideration is, whether the logo can be produced in the desired form. Since it is a transparent film, the design works as a single coloured. The transfer is produced from a specially manufactured transparent PU film which comes with a laminate adhesive. By using this laminate adhesive film, our transparent heat transfer labels are suitable for most fabrics and garments. Because of its excellent adhesive properties, the transfer is also a good solution for printing on coated fabrics and garments.
To create a logo, we require your artwork in a vector file format (AI/PDF or PNG). If your artwork is only available in a jpg format, we can convert your file into a useable format. Please note that the line width of the logo should be at least 1.5 mm. In our experience, thinner line widths can result in the film tearing when the design is plotter or laser cut.
If you’re looking for discreet branding and heat transfer printing technique, transparent transfers offer the optimal solution.
