RECHARGE YOUR SPIRIT - DEKOGRAPHICS HELPS!
We at dekoGraphics Germany have an initiative called "Today for Tomorrow" where we address different sustainable topics such as sustainable packaging options and sustainable working conditions but also social engagement. One project that evolved out of this initiative was our collaboration with the swim team from Smile e.V. - a public charity for people with down syndrom with the goal for better inclusion and educational work. While deciding on a charity we wanted to support we considered facts like locality and the shared passion for sports.
We contacted the team and asked them how we could best support them and since the swim team will attend at the special olympics this year they were asking for matching shirts with their logo and name on it so they could appear as a team at the tournament.
So we went straight to work: ordered shirts, further developed their existing logo to match the "water/swimming" theme and decided on a special transfer quality with waterdrop effects to make the shirts even more special. Once eveything was ready we invited the whole team into our office/ production, gave them a tour and let them print their own individual shirts by themselves (with the help of our colleagues).
The whole event was a total success. We loved having the team over! Their joy and soulfulness was contagious and at the end I don´t know who had more fun, them or us 😄 We all enjoyed seeing how something simple as a shirt with your logo and name on it can make people happy.
