Here’s the thing: no two conversations are exactly the same. But there are certain questions we ask in most projects because they help us guide you to the right solution.
To make things easier, we’ve put together the 10 typical questions that often come up in a first call – and why they matter.
1. What is your project about? (Use Case & Context)
The intended use determines the technique, durability, and overall appearance.
Are you working on:
- Sports jerseys or teamwear?
- Fashion collections?
- Branded merchandise?
- Corporate or workwear?
Or something entirely different?
The more clearly we understand what you’re planning, the better we can advise you.
2. What type of fabric are you using? (Material & Surface)
Your textile matters – because not every heat transfer technique works on every fabric.
We’ll typically ask:
- Polyester or cotton?
- Blended fabric (e.g. 60/40)?
- Nylon, softshell, or other technical materials?
- Sublimated jerseys?
The fabric affects both the choice of technique and the actual application process.
3. Where will the logo be placed? (Position & Application Zones)
Placement influences the technical setup and durability.
Typical zones include:
- Chest
- Back
- Sleeves
- Collar or neck label
Each area comes with specific technical challenges – especially when seams or stretch zones are involved.
4. What does your logo look like – and which colours are required? (Design & Colour)
Design complexity and colour specification affect production.
- Single colour or multicolour?
- Fine details, gradients, or special effects?
- Do you have Pantone or brand colour references?
- Or would you like us to match the colour to your textile?

No final artwork yet? No problem – we can support you with artwork setup and colour matching.
5. What’s the approximate size of the logos? (Dimensions & Print Area)
Size affects the technique, material use, and pricing.
Even a rough idea helps:
- Small chest logo?
- Large back print?
- Tiny neck label?
If possible, let us know the size in centimetres – or in inches, whichever works better for you. Or simply describe the visual size you have in mind.
6. How many pieces do you need – and how often? (Quantity Planning & Minimum Order)
Our minimum order quantity is 500 pieces per design and size.
That means:
- Minimum 500 pieces per logo size or variant
- For example: one chest logo + one back logo = 500 pieces each
- You need fewer than 500? Get in touch – we might find a solution for special cases.
✅ Repeat orders and reorders are absolutely possible – we’re happy to support you in the long term.
The more we know about your volume expectations, the better we can advise you.
7. What kind of finish or effect do you have in mind? (Look & Feel)
Your expectations for the finish help us choose the right technique.
Should the logo feel:
- Matte or glossy?
- Flat or raised (3D)?
- Soft-touch, structured, or with a noticeable grip?
We’ll suggest suitable options – and provide samples if needed.
8. Are there any specific requirements we should know about? (Washability, Certifications, Brand Standards)
Transfers can be tailored to meet strict standards – if we know them.
Typical requirements include:
- Washable at 60 °C or higher
- Skin-safe for children
- Suitable for industrial laundering
- Certifications like OEKO-TEX®, REACH, or brand-specific standards (e.g. adidas A01, Nike RSL)
We’ll ensure your logos meet the relevant standards.
9. Do you have a deadline? (Timeline & Feasibility)
Knowing your schedule helps us assess what’s realistic.
Common deadlines:
- Product launch
- Trade fair
- Jersey launch before the season
- Collection drop
If your timeline is tight, we’ll let you know what’s doable – and where things might get tight.
10. Who will apply the logos – and where should they be delivered? (In-house or External?)
Knowing who applies the logos – and where they’re needed – helps us support you better.
- Will you apply the logos yourself?
- Are you working with a decoration or production partner – maybe even abroad?
- Or are you looking for someone to do it for you?
